The training on Understanding and working with Deserted Women Unaccompanied Women and Sex Workers – Technics and Approach conducted on 06.12.2022 in Vavuniya District.
22 Public Health Midwives, 01 medical officer, 02 medical road officers, 14 police officers, 6 other personnel and FOSDOO’s Volunteers participated in the training. Most of the participants expressed their view about the training. Most prominently: “For those of us who serve people, gender inequality and substance abuse have been identified as very important issues and the training provided to consider these points. Everyone pointed out that their behavior and attitude are very important to deal with this specific target group.
