Conduct a trade fair to encourage woman producers in women’s day at provincial level.

A trade fair to encourage women producers at provincial level had been conducted to celebrate women’s day on 22nd March 2024 at Vavuniya District Secretariat. The event provided space to women entrepreneurs to showcasing their products in open space and they had been recognized by honored them. Vavuniya District Secretary (GA), Assistant Divisional Secretary (ADS), Director from Agriculture department, Admin officer from Vavuniya North Pradeshiya Sabha, Grama Niladaries Development Officers, Agriculture Instructors, FOSDOO’S staff and volunteers took part in this programme. Including women entrepreneurs altogether 210 people participated in this occasion. This Activity comes under the project calls ‘’Resilient and Gender Inclusive Enterprise Systems (RIES) in Sri lanka’’ and being funded by DevPro.
