A practical training on Value addition of milk-based products had been organized for staff members who are from Revitalized Livestock breeders Co-Op societies (LBCS) of Vavuniya in Karaveddy, Jaffna LBCS on 29th June 2024.
During this training programme, the methodology of value chain products, operation of machineries, Handling & Health precautionary measures, packing methods & other preventive measures had been discussed.
Altogether, three Co-operative Development officers who are working with Vavuniya, Madukanda, Kanagarayankulam, Rasenthirankulam, Avusathapitiya LBCSs and three Staff from FOSDOO participated in the training programme.
Dr. Vaseekaran – Deputy Provincial Director of Animal Production & Health was the facilitator of the training.
The training comes under the project calls “Supporting the most vulnerable communities to attain their Socio-Economic Development by themselves” by the financial support of WE EFFECT.
