Networking event with relevant Government sector actors for employment and marketing was conducted at Arunthathi Hall, Vavuniya on 26th February 2026. This session was conducted to create marketing and Networking facilities for the products produced by beneficiaries. The potential 33 beneficiaries (06 Single Women and 27 Deserted Women) from Vavuniya, Vavuniya North, Vavuniya South and Vengalacheddikulam DSD divisions who were supported under Livelihoods component had displayed their products and explained the challenges they are facing.
Officers of SEDD-Vavuniya District Secretariat, Vithatha Officer, Women Development Officers of Vengalacheddikulam and Vavuniya South and NGO Coordinator-Vavuniya District had participated in the event and interacted with the beneficiaries. This activity comes under the Project calls “DESTINY” funded by Sri Lanka Centre for Development Facilitation (SLCDF) with the financial Support of European Union.
