International Youth Day – 2025 – celebrated on 12th August 2025 at Municipal council Hall- Vavuniya. The programme funded by RFSU and FOSDOO took lead role with the support of JSAC and PYEN.
The theme for International Youth Day – 2025 is: “youth advancing multilateral cooperation through technology and partnership.”
In this event, experience sharing of ToT youths, Panel discussion about Sexual Education, Creating awareness on important of Sexual Education though Villuppattu (A art form), appreciating youth entrepreneurs were the prominent event which remarkable. The Secretary of Governor Northern Province, Additional Government Agent – Vavuniya, Divisional Secretaries – Vavuniya and Vavuniya North, Assistant Regional Director of Health Service, Senior Medical Officer of Health – Mental Health Unit, Additional Medical Officer of Health – Vavuniya, Zonal Director of Education – Vavuniya North, staff from Child and Women Development unit, Teachers, Grama Niladaries, Development officers, Officers from NAITA, VTA, Technical college, Youths from different places, CBO’s staff from FOSDOO, JSAC and PYEN participated in the event
