Capacity building training on Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW),Prevention of Domestic Violence Act (PDVA) and National action plan to WCSN members and women groups.

Capacity building training programme on Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW),Prevention of Domestic Violence Act (PDVA) and National action plan to WCSN members and women groups was conducted in Vavuniya. 

The training programme for Sinhala division was conducted on 04th November and for Tamil division on 06th November in a common training spot at Vavuniya Agrarian Service Centre. Altogether 48 Participants participated in this training.

The training comes under the project calls “Supporting most vulnerable community to attain their Socio- Economic Development by themselves” funded by WE EFFECT.
