Build unity, harmony and integrity through youth engagement and empowerment initiatives

FOSDOO is implementing USAID’s SCORE project collaborating with Global Communities to promote youth representation and participation in advocacy actions through interventions that empower and motivate youth in design youth-led activities that aim to promote unity, harmony, and integrity not only among different communities but also among young men and women promote the participation in the reconciliation process in SCORE target areas. This project is being implemented in selected 17 GN divisions in Vavuniya, Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu, Jaffna, Anuradapura, and Trincomalee districts. The main objective of interventions to initiate FOSDOO is increasing opportunities for youth and women to exercise leadership to promote responsible citizenship and reconciliation. FOSDOO will seek all possible ways for the equal participation of young women throughout the grant activities to ensure the gender mainstreaming and to collaborate with existing youth platforms/networks of SCORE, which is includes but not limit to IYAP, SLRCS, KALKI, Samuthayasangili, National Youth Service Councils and Department of Manpower at each district.
