An awareness Programme on period poverty and SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights) has been conducted for targetting youth groups at Thavasikkulam, Kanthapuram and Nagareluppaikkulam Villages on 23rd January – 2024. Altogether 32 Youths participated in the programme and it has been facilitated by Dr.Nireka.
The Programme comes under the project calls “Collective Action Against Period Poverty” (CAAPP) is being funded by Family Planning Association of SriLanka and French embassy.
